La Marea Shopping Center was inaugurated in 2008, at the entrance of the urban area of Arguineguín. It was built with a modern design that has resisted very well over the years and thanks to its location, it has become a point of reference of the residential mass of the area. The incorporation of the Land Registry and a Notary's office, as well as several legal offices, have made this center an important administrative point in the southern part of the island.
